ABOARD THALASSA

Thalassa is a two-mast comfort Phinisi boat built in the traditional style of the South Sulawesi Bugis people.

The Bugis have a proud cultural history that began with a strong and fierce Thalassocracy (maritime empire) during the 17th and 18th century. The Thalassa was brought to life at the hands and in the heartland of these skillful and respected maritime people.

We carefully chose the name Thalassa to embody the cultural heritage of Indonesia and the essence of the unpredictability of the ocean and exploration. In the Bugis language, Konjo, the word “talas” means “alive, scattered around, to be found anywhere.” In Greek mythology, Thalassa was the primordial goddess of the sea, born of chaos and personifying the sea's unpredictable nature.

Thalassa can host up to eight guests in 3 comfortable and beautiful cabins. Onboard, you will find expansive indoor and outdoor dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, dive deck, and relaxation area. The boat is equipped with the newest high-end equipment, to make your exploratory diving experience as safe and unique as possible.
